Google blog is is also known as Blogger. Setting up a blogger account is quite easy, but if you are new to the system you may need some guide line on how to setup a blog with a customized blogger template that you will download from around the internet. I will assume you already gone through my previous post (if you have not please do) => Starting A Blog. There are some important stuffs you may like to know.
--> Sign up for blogger account: You will need to point your browser to www.blogger.com, and before you do that you will need a Google account. Your Google account detail are used to sign in to Blogger account, so in order to create a new blogger account, you will need to have a Google account first.
--> Complete your blog name and continue with your new blog
--/--> Fill in the name that will be displayed in your profile
--/--> Start Creating blog
----/-> Title: Make a unique blog title of your own.
----/-> Address: The address of your blog, this should be simple and unique. Before you choose an address for your blog, you know, your blog address will be like your-address.blogspot.com I will advice you to run a search on whatever address you want to choose so that when you are ready to switch to a custom domain it won't happen that your domain is already in use by another person. So, go to Godadday.com and search for you-address in whatever domain type you want e.g. you-address.com, you-address.net, you-address.org etc. and make sure its available. You can even buy a custom domain before choosing a domain name for your blog.
----/-> Template: Choose a template from the list of available templates. You don't have to worry about the look of those available ones; you can set a customized, good looking template whenever you are ready to do so.
----/-> Click on create blog
--/--> Click on New Post: to start composing new posts(the animation below my help).
--/--> You can save post as draft when its not yet ready to be published.
--/--> Click Preview to see how it look like in a real world.
--/--> Close the compose if you don't want to continue (You can still get your post in draft).
--/--> Click on image icon to add graphics to your post.
--/-->Publish to finally allow the world to see the fabulous post.
This is not the end of it; as time goes you will see the need of adding new functionality to your blog, make it look nice and appealing to the eye of your blog users.

Step two
After creating a new blog you will have this dashboard from which you can do every blogger thing, starting from publishing new content to making sensitive settings.
Don't mess with the settings area because its quite sensitive. From the settings, are you can tell search engines not to index your blog, you don't want to do that.
