Yeah, this happen to be the big deal "How To Increase Blog Traffic". when you are lagging behind in this then you are out of the game, because you still have to lot more work to do.
Is there any actual secret to rising blog visitor/traffic if I may ask? the answer is yes; it all starts from the beginning, and move on like a chain reaction, expanding to the point you don't even know how people who don't have enough traffic to their blog feel.
And its obvious that for the same reason am writing this blog post.
This blog have been around for quite a long time, and things use to be rough. I almost starting to hate search engines and it cohorts, and certainly don't like signing up for any SEO program; rather streaming videos for that. I will like to share with you what actually happened that got things in order.
--> Know what you are doing: Don't lie to yourself that you don't blog because of the money. Almost or anyone reading this post came into blogging because they wanted to pave another means of income (put that at the back of your mind) so you most know what you are into. If you are a Michael Jackson, then you most be the best dancer and singer. If you are a Floyd Mayweather Jr., then you most know how to throw those punches. If you are a LeBron James, then you most be good in doing those stuff. You can't be doing something different from what you should be doing and expect to succeed, its like LeBron James trying to compete with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in boxing (hmm. Disaster).
--> Update regularly: If you are really serious about what you do, then you don't have to lazy around. No one will like to stay around with some lazy jack (even a lazy fellow will address another lazy person as being lazy). Google bot stay away from your blog because it sees it as been lazy. If you're really in your niche, then this shouldn't be a problem. You most keep it genuine (copy and paste doesn't count). Don't just write: your post length shouldn't be less then 400 character, and write something someone somewhere is looking for to read.
--> Spread the good news: You don't want to keep your posts to yourself. You probably came to this post from a social website; because whenever I publish, it auto syndicates to my social accounts: Facebook; wall and page, Twitter, Linked, Google+; profile and page. Sharing your content to social page rally increases blog traffic and keeps you going. You may want to read post to multiple social networks.
--> Check for broken/dead links and fix them: Perhaps its time you know how to operate Google webmaster tools. You can't be perfect. Almost everyday I check my account, on webmaster tools, I will always see something to fix. Use the webmaster tools because it helps. And when you see those broken links of your blog that you don't now what to do with, redirect them to other related post of your blog, or to your home page. If you have done the whole of these, and observe them, your blog will never remain the same.
