If you care much about your computer space and dont want to install much program/application to it; here is a portable app known as Zero Install. You can Install Downloads, Updates, and Runs Apps Without Installing them to your computer. What to do i mean, you can just install to a portable device, maybe, flash drive, external storage device and it.
Note you can run any application without installing them. You can also set up Zero Install to sync installations between computers
so no matter which machine you're on, it's always up to date.
