Before you have access to the Web Service Portal, You most have a unique Log-in identification i.e. customer ID and Security Key. You will use customer ID and Security Key to log in to your online account; in your account you will have access to your contacts and and other call logs etc and still have an access to a welcome back section just meant for your account.

Because I use MTN, I have an account too. The last time I try opening my self-care account it showed me page not found maybe a temporal shutdown or under maintenance.
