Geek's Mind: How Keyboard Keys Saves From Embarrassment

If you don't know this, know it now that your computer keyboard will one day save you from embarrassment. What are you or what do you say of your self ? Geek, Hacker or what whatever don't worry you will know yourself better by the way you navigate around your computer without the help of the "poor" mouse. Have you ever planed, even once, on how to use your computer without using the mouse it helps especially when you clam to be a super hero in manipulating around the computer, besides it saves time and workspace because by the time you move the mouse you are wasting some times (in seconds) compared to when you use the keyboard, with the mouse you will have extra space for it and enough in order not disturb the mouse movement, in fact you will also need a mat or any fine surface to move them on.

Well you will need this computer keyboard of a thing in order to improve your computing skills though you may not need to brainstorm yourself about the shortcut keys because the more you use them, the more you know them, and the more you search for new keys (shortcut key combinations)

How do you start this new life? 
You use the computer almost everyday there are some function you frequently use, function like: click on  Start, Copy/Paste/Cut, Print, Save, Close active window....you know them all, you always use these functions in your daily computer usage and you probably use your mouse to do all these, why not learn the keyboard shortcut for all these usual function it will save you time.

Reputation/Credit: I will never forget this; One day I was helping someone on his project research on the internet, I was just very fast about everything because I don't want to spend the whole day doing his work, this man was admiring the way I do my things around the computer, he kept looking and looking at everything I was doing, finally, guess what, he said "I have never seen someone using a computer the way you do" hahahe and I was a little bit flattered though he was sincere about it and he asked me some question on how i got exposed to computer to that extent I finally left that day with a weighty pocket :)
This gentle man I was talking about looked at me as a Geek because he was surprised and impressed about my computer skills then almost everything i did was with the keyboard (keyboard keys and shortcuts)

Reboot: WIN, U, R	Reboot: shutdown: -r t 0	Previous Page: Backspace key
Stand by: WIN, U, S		Reload Browser: Ctrl + R
Hibernate: WIN, U, H	Hibernate: shutdown: -h	Close Active Window: Alt + F4
		Minimize All Window: WIN + M or WIN + D

Note: for Windows Vista and 7 press the windows key (start) then type the command and press enter on the keyboard
