Steps: How To Unlock Modem Online

This is not a new topic though, its been on line for decades, if you Google the topic you will find swarms of search result. I want to be more precise here.

You don't need to download any software of program from the internet in order to  unlock your USB modem or any similar device that will need to be unlocked. Follow this steps:
  1. Calculate your IMEI number: An IMEI number is unique to any device. There are different ways of getting a devices IMEI number, depending on the kind of device. Go to this website Modem/Dongle Unlock Code Calculator to calculate your IMEI number.
  2. Insert a different SIM to your modem and plug to your computer: When you insert a foreign SIM into your device, your device will request that you put an unlocking code in order to start using the Modem with this unknown SIM.
  3. Use the unlocking code: Copy the result of your calculation (Unlocking code) as done in step one, and past into the box as requested by your modem software program.
  4. Click OK or UNLOCK.
After inserting your unlocking code your device will be unlocked for all SIM card including the one that its meant for; leaving you with a UNIVERSAL USB MODEM :).
