DNS Changer Alarm And Security Measures to Take

What do you think about this DNS Changer of a thing? It have been published that thousands of people will loose Internet connection on Monday as a result of infection of the virus "DNS Changer" with the highest number of Victims from the United State (about 70,000 computers).

Lets see what CNET say about the DNS Changer
DNSChanger is a Trojan horse malware with many variants. It changes an infected computer's DNS settings to point to rogue, bad guy-controlled servers. These then show you ads that look real, but aren't. Basically, it redirects your legitimate Web surfing to malicious Web sites that then attempt to steal personal information and generate illegitimate ad revenue.
It was said that the virus was discovered as of 2007 and was shutdown by the FBI, if that be the case, why are we still going to face an Internet shutdown. Alright, the hacker have done it already I think is high time to find a solution to this abnormal situation.

The alarm is all over the Internet, if you think or suspect that you may have fallen a victim of the Internet shutdown by Monday or for the sake of been sure you are not effected with this virus, I think you better do yourself good by going for a check up.

Provisions have been made for computer scanning from different agents including the FBI. the links are as follows:
