Get Facebook Notifications On Phone

Facebook is advancing everyday don't just be left behind as a Facebook user, get the latest and be up to date.
I just got the settings when i was exploring my Facebook page and settings and immediately i applied the settings and to my it works. mind you, you will not be charged a dim for receiving any notification from Facebook, neither are you going to be charged for receiving the Facebook notification from your network carrier, the only thing you are going to pay for is the massage you send to Facebook during the registration, and that is all.

To set up follow the easy steps bellow.
  • How to activate mobile text: You can go to the Mobile tab of your Account Settings page(Account settings click on Mobile) to activate Mobile Texts. Click "Register for Facebook Text Messages" and complete the steps that follow.

    If you find that your carrier is not listed in the drop-down menu in Step 1 of the activation process, it means that your carrier is not currently supported for Facebook Mobile Texts. We encourage you to talk to your mobile operator to let them know that you are interested in this service. 
  •  Activation code: Your activation code depends the country in which you reside. You can find specific steps to activate texts in your country on the mobile tab of your Account Settings. 
  •  Unsupported carrier: If you find that your carrier is not listed in the drop-down menu in Step 1 of the activation process, it means that your carrier is not currently supported for Facebook Mobile Texts.
  • How much does it cost?: Facebook does not charge you for using Mobile Texts. However, your mobile provider's standard rates for sending and receiving text messages still apply.
  • How to add a new number or change number: You can go to the Mobile tab of your Account Settings page to add, remove, or switch numbers.

    If you already have a mobile number on the account, you can click "Add another phone" to activate another number for Mobile texts, or remove your existing number by clicking "remove" next to the number you wish to remove.

    If you have more than one number registered on your account for Mobile Texts, you will have the ability to choose which number you want to send your Mobile Texts to. Simply select the mobile number you want to receive your texts to in the "Send texts to" drop-down menu at the bottom of this page.
  • If you have activated the text notification but you are not receiving any text notification: First, make sure you have SMS checked for the notifications you would like to receive. You can decide what notifications are sent to you via Mobile Texts by visiting the Notifications tab of your Account Settings page.

    If you confirm that SMS notifications are checked in your Notifications tab, but are still not receiving texts, try removing your number completely then reactivating Mobile Texts.

    To completely remove a number from your account, go to the Mobile tab of your Account Settings Page and click "remove." You can then reactivate your Mobile Texts by clicking "Register for Facebook Text Messages" on the same page.
When you are through with all this settings, you can set the type of notification you receive. whether to receive notification for comment that is made in your image, profile, post and so on.

How to discontinue Facebook text notification 

To stop Facebook notifications from being sent to your phone, you can simply text "Off" (without quotation marks) to the number that you send your status updates to. Alternatively, you can go to the Mobile tab of your Account Settings page and change your settings to "Off." Note that you can still send text messages to the same number to update your status or take actions Facebook.

You can also choose to completely remove a number from your account on this page by clicking "remove" next to the phone number that you wish to remove
